Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds apply to different Degree Doctor® products and services.

Because we offer both digital downloads and a subscription-based membership, refund terms differ depending on the product purchased.

1. Digital Download Products

(e.g. PhD Survival Guides, Braun & Clarke Guide, Research Proposal Guide, Cheat Sheet Library, standalone resources)

All digital download products are delivered instantly upon purchase.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You waive your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 once the download has begun

  • This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

2. Degree Doctor® Momentum Subscription

Momentum is a digital education membership provided on a subscription basis.

Monthly Membership

  • You may cancel at any time

  • Your access will continue until the end of your current paid calendar month

  • No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period

Annual Membership

If you cancel an annual subscription early:

  • Your usage will be recalculated at the standard monthly rate (without the annual discount)

  • You will be charged for the months already used

  • Any remaining balance will be refunded

  • Access will continue until the recalculated period ends

Important Notes

  • Payments relate to access for a given calendar month (no pro-rating)

  • Customers are responsible for cancelling in good time via the payment provider

  • Refunds are not provided for failure to use the service

3. General

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Lack of usage

  • Misunderstanding of the product (where clear information has been provided prior to purchase)
