Support My Free PhD Resources
Well, I've gone and made myself a tip jar. 🫙
If you've ever watched one of my YouTube videos, read a blog post or downloaded one of my free PhD resources and thought, “Oh THANK GOODNESS, someone has finally explained that in normal-person language!”, then this little page is for you.
I spend a lot of time creating free resources to help PhD researchers make sense of the various things that can send otherwise perfectly reasonable adults completely bonkerpants.
Literature reviews. Qualitative data analysis. Research paradigms. Supervisors who tell you to “be more critical” without explaining HOW.
You know the drill. 🙄
I genuinely love making them.
So, what's the tip jar all about?
Well, some people have asked how they can support my work without buying a PhD Survival Guide, my book, or joining my membership.
So I've set up a little virtual tip jar.
If something I've created has helped you, made your PhD feel a bit less overwhelming or saved you from throwing your laptop into a hedge, you can leave a tip of whatever amount you fancy.
Think of it as buying me a virtual coffee. ☕
There's absolutely no obligation to contribute. My free resources are staying free, whether you leave a tip or not.
What do I get if I leave a tip?
A lovely warm, glowing feeling. That's about it. 🤗
Seriously, though, this is a completely voluntary contribution to support the free educational content I create through Degree Doctor.
You won't receive a product, download, service, membership, additional content, personalised advice or any other benefit in exchange for your tip.
It doesn't give you access to anything that isn't already freely available.
It's simply a way to say, “That was helpful. Thanks!” if you'd like to.
If you'd rather keep enjoying the free stuff without leaving a tip? That's absolutely fine too.
Fancy chucking something in the jar?
You can choose how much you'd like to contribute using the button below.
Thank you for being here, for reading, watching and sharing my work, and for helping make Degree Doctor the lovely little corner of the internet that it is.
Right. Back to the PhD nonsense. 😂
Elizabeth
Please note: Tips are voluntary contributions to Degree Doctor. They are not payments for goods or services. Nothing is supplied in exchange for a contribution, and contributions do not create any entitlement to products, services, membership access or personalised support.
